Angeliki Athanasiadou is Professor, Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics, School of English, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Her teaching and research interests focus on the framework of Cognitive Linguistics, a usage-based model of language which recognizes the role of human experience in shaping language structure.
