ΕVENT ABSTRACT

From Middle Earth to Weaveworld, speculative fiction unfolds in a variety of unforgettable realms. While the protagonists perform incredible feats, the author of fantasy, horror and science fiction also has to perform a feat of their own: craft a world that is enticing, believable, consistent and inspiring in equal measure. Moreover, they have to convey this information to the reader while the story unfolds, without slowing down their plot. In this workshop, the participants will receive an array of practical tools, skills and tips to help them create original worlds and introduce the reader into them in the course of the story. In addition, they will receive information on the best ways to present and publish their work in the future.
