It is the largest Zhoshi day in terms of rituals and dancing. Prayers at the Dewa sanctuary, uphill by the fathers of the babies to be sprinkled with goat milk together with their mothers. Down in the village a fire is lit with juniper branches on a roof, walnuts and dry mulberries are dropped on it, while a man holding a cup of goat milk first sprinkles the goat sheds and Jes'tak Han temple and then sprinkles all the mothers and babies for purification. The ritual of s'is'au “women’s purification with t'at'ori, a kind of thick flat bread, performed by a man, also takes place on this day. After sharing their food (walnuts and dry mulberries) they all rush to the dancing places.
