Dr. Irene Stoukou is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the School of English Language and Literature, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She earned her Ph.D. in English Literature and Culture from the same institution in 2023, fully funded by the Greek State Scholarships Foundation (IKY). She holds an MA in Modern and Contemporary Literature, Culture and Thought from the University of Sussex, UK, and a BA in English Language and Literature from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Her research interests include Critical Posthumanism and the Posthuman, Children’s Literature, Adaptation, Film Studies, Gender Studies, Victorian Literature, and the Fantastic.
