You are cordially invited to this year’s Summer School to take place online (via zoom) on Saturday 26 June 2021 featuring three presentations/workshops.

The special theme to be explored this year reflects on the impact the pandemic has had on education, the performing arts, and vulnerable communities.

The summer event is organized by the Department of American Literature and Culture, School of English, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, in collaboration with the Fulbright Foundation Greece and the Hellenic Association for American Studies (HELAAS).

Our special speakers for this year’s summer school are:

• Sofia-Eleftheria Gonida, (Professor in Educational Psychology and Human Development, School of Psychology, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece).
• Elizabeth Duclos-Orsello, (Professor in American Studies, urban studies and social/cultural history; Department of Interdisciplinary Studies, Salem State University, U.S.)
• Savas Patsalidis, Professor Emeritus in Theatre and Performance History and Theory, School of English, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece).
