Description

This course introduces students to the scientific field of second language acquisition (L2). Its objectives are theories about how languages are learned, bilingualism, developmental stages in L1 and L2, cognitive and psychological factors in L2, the nature of interlanguage, the role of the first language, the effect of context and feedback. By the end of the course participants should be able to critically assess research connected with the above.
