Dear Colleagues,
What if this summer your students, lecturers, and researchers could explore one of the oldest living Indo-European languages—while studying on the Baltic coast?
We are pleased to invite applications to the Summer Lithuanian Language and Culture Course at Klaipėda University (Lithuania), taking place July 2–31, 2026, in person in Klaipėda.
The state-funded Foundation Course, supported by the Education Exchanges Support Foundation, is open to:
– Students
– Lecturers
– Researchers
– Individuals of Lithuanian origin living abroad
Selected participants will receive a state scholarship of 962 EUR. Participation in state-funded courses is possible up to three times. Lithuanian language proficiency must not exceed C1 level. Selection is based on academic motivation and recommendation.
