The Department of English Literature of the School of English at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, in collaboration with the Hellenic Association for the Study of English (HASE), invite scholars to (re)submit proposals for the international conference E-motion in Changing Worlds to be held in Thessaloniki, 3-5 November 2023.

“Greece in Victorian Popular Culture” - International Conference - 8-9 April 2022

The conference is organized by the REVICTO research project (“Representations of Modern Greece in Victorian Popular Culture”, H.F.R.I. funded).

THE FLESH MADE TEXT: BODIES, THEORIES, CULTURES IN THE POST-MILLENNIAL ERA
On 14-18th May, 2003 HASE, in collaboration with the School of English of Aristotle University and with the Hellenic Association of American Studies (HELAAS), organized a large international conference entitled "The Flesh Made Text: Bodies, Theories, Cultures in the Post-Millennial Era".
The conference included 300 speakers, with 8 Plenary lecturers from Europe and the United States. One of the largest of its kind in the area of Cultural Studies in Greece, the conference was generally pronounced a great success. The conference organizers plan to publish at least one volume of Selected Proceedings from the conference.
