Polychronia Christodoulidou is currently a PhD candidate at the Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics, School of English Language and Literature, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She holds a BA in Greek Philology and an MA in Theoretical Linguistics (MA thesis: “Reduplication and hyper-reduplication in Greek”). She is a Course Instructor at the Metropolitan College of Thessaloniki, and she has also served as a Course Instructor at the Mediterranean College of Thessaloniki, teaching linguistic courses in Speech and Language Therapy Programs. Her research interests lie in speech production, specifically in the acoustic and articulatory characteristics of both typical and disordered speech. Her PhD thesis, entitled "Developmental aspects of Greek vowel production," focuses on the developmental trajectory of vowel production and vowel reduction in individuals with typical development, aiming to establish norms across a wide range of ages for the Greek language.
