Nikolaos Lavidas

Nikolaos Lavidas is Assistant Professor of Linguistics at the Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics, School of English, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He holds a BA in Philology and Linguistics and an MA in Linguistics (with a scholarship from the Greek State Scholarship Foundation) and a PhD in Linguistics (with a scholarship from the A. Onassis Foundation) from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Prior to his employment at the Aristotle University, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of the Aegean (with a scholarship from the Greek State Scholarship Foundation), and he taught Linguistics at the University of Peloponnese, the University of Patras and the University of the Aegean. He has published articles on Historical Linguistics, Argument Structure, Syntax-Semantics Interface, Language Change, (Historical) Language Contact, Historical Corpora.
