Nopy Konstantinidou is a PhD candidate in the Department of Applied Linguistics of the School of English at the Aristotle University. Her PhD research concerns the influence of CLIL teaching on students’ Working Memory, Proactive Interference and Retroactive Interference. She initiated her studies in the MA Program “Teaching Languages and Language Communication” of the School of French after taking written and oral entrance exams and in the end she excelled at them. As a certified English Teacher she is mainly experienced in “Adult Education and Training” covering Vocational Training and General Education in all levels of education from primary to tertiary. After being nominated as a scholar for the position, she has recently awarded a certificate for the attendance of a long lasting course organized by the American Embassy. She participates in “With 2 Languages”, a “branch” – partner organization of the information service of Bilingualism Matters at the University of Edinburgh. Moreover, she is a trained Oral Examiner for all levels of KPG exams. She speaks fluently English and German.
